Well, as you can see from the other blog posts here on the site, we
have a highly enegertic staff for this season. Building off of the
momentum from 2005 and the success our program saw, we are building an
even better program for 2006. Please stay tuned. It should be exciting
for all!
Keeping with the other posts, I need to give a little information about
myself. My name is Brit Mansell. I'm married to Kristin and we have two
dogs, a boxer named Sprocket and a huge Lab named Riley. I've been
racing quads for about 14
years, and riding for about 23. I'm 28 now, so I've been pushing a
thumb
throttle most of my life. I've seen the sport of ATV racing go through
peaks and vallies and I can honestly say without a shadow of a doubt
that we are currently in the most exciting time in ATV history. The
possibilities for the upcoming seasons are absolutely endless. If you
ever wanted to get into the sport, now is definitely the time!
SEQuads began as an idea about two years ago focussing on an "online
community". Our local series, which at that time featured quads and
bikes, was seeing only about 20 ATV's at each race. We had a two stroke
and a four stroke class. **those were the days** Thanks to the help of
the other staff members here, and the great SEQRA members, we have been
able to grow the program exponentially. We at the SEQRA pride ourselves
in delivering a series that caters to the riders, not to the all mighty
dollar. If you are ever on the site here, or at a race and you see
something that concerns you or you have an idea on how to improve
something, we welcome your feedback with open arms. Our
forums are the perfect place to voice your criticism, concerns, or ideas.
I appreciate you coming to the site, but I would like to task everyone
that reads this with one thing: let us know how you feel! We can't make
the perfect program without your involvement. Please visit the
forums and let us know how you think things are going and any suggestions you may have.
As for my involvement in SEQuads, on paper I'm the "President", but
paper is about the only place that holds water. This group doesn't have
a President. We work together on almost everything. My actual role is
the "web guy".
thanks,
.brit
