2006 Classes

There were a few modifications to our class list for the upcoming season. Please look over the information below and make note of the changes. Please let us know in the forums if you have any questions.

Expert: this is our "fastest" class. It is called Expert due to the ATVA rule stating any rider participating in a Pro class cannot participate in an amateur class at an ATVA sanctioned race. By calling it Expert we eliminate problems with the ATVA. If a rider has an overall finish high enough to receive a monetary payout, the check can be made out to a SEQRA sponsor or the rider's sponsor if necessary. This way the rider is not accepting money from a race. Riders must be 16 years or older to participate in this class.

i dont think the shifter minis should be able to run in the youth unlimited. the unlimited will mostly be stroked and bored 2 stroke asian minis. the shifter minis are usually 80 cc motorcycle motors in aftermarket frames with suspen and frame setups very similar to a full six quad. sorry guys you just blew us out of running your series. our our 105cc eton cant compete with a hetrick cr80 motored hybird.

From coop:

Hey Quaddad, I hope you understand that your e-ton will be able to run the unlimited youth class, in that class your child wont be competing against the youth production quads. We dont intend to lump all of the unlimited youth atv's with the youth production atv's. We only wanted to offer any rider on a minimod to be able to compete with faster quads if that rider chose to do so and was conciderably faster than the other riders in the youth unlimited class. I hope this clears things up for you. As we have posted before, we want to offer good competition, and as our rider numbers increase, then our class numbers will increase. We had a geat lst year and are growing prety good right now, but with our average rider count at less than 100 right now we cannot afford to offer as many youth classes as there are in the ATVA, so we have to combine classes together, and keep the rules less stricted as the ATVA so we can accomidate more riders. Please dont be discouraged to not come and race with us, I am sure you guys will like the competition. Coop
