ok, my turn. I'm putting a 450 carb on my 400.So far I've found out i have to get a 450 throttle cable. I noticed a couple extra holes in the 450 carb and a plug that the 400 dosen't have. If anyones done this before and can help me that would be great. Trying to get it done before saturday.

came off a honda 450. yea, it's an electrical type. Theres nothing on my bike i see that it can plug into.

The extra hole on top is the hotstart, you dont need it but if you want it you will need another clutch perch and a hotstart cable.  The 2 electrical plugs are the TPS (trottle position sensor) and the carb heater, obviously your wiring harness will not have a plug for these so i would imagine you could run without them, but i dont know too much about using a 450r carb on an ex.  Oh and btw, you can just buy my bike and it already has everything plugged into the carb
