    Re: Wesley Carter

Wesley did come home yesterday afternoon.  He has been very brave, getting through the surgery and the therapy afterwards.  He still has some rough days ahead.  He is at his dad's.  We hope to have a teacher come by for a period of time each day, so he is with his dad and step mother, Pennie, at this time.  He still needs your prayers and encouragement.  His phone # at his dads is 2056478339.  We appreciate everyone's visits and calls.  Thanks everyone!

Wesley is doing pretty well.  It is tough being stuck inside all day long...  Struggling to get around in the house, dealing with the pain, trying to move muscles that have been sewn together.  The phone # is a local Bham #, should any of you guys want to call.  He would sure like to hear from all his racing buddies.  2056478339

    Re: Wesley Carter

Just wanted to let everyone know Wesley had a setback today. He has a blood clot in each lung. He is doing pretty good but will probably be in the hospital for a few days. We will post when we find out if he will be in Childrens or St Vincents. Ronnie

    Re: Wesley Carter

Wesley spent his first full day out of intensive care, and it was a very good day.  For those who may not know, having blood clots moving within your circulatory system can be life threatening.  We know that at least 2 clots passed through his heart to his lungs.  BUT most of all, we also know that a lot of people have been praying for him, and we are SO Very thankful for that.  We know that God must have had his hand on him through all of this.  He will be at Children's at least a couple mor days, then more life style adjustments will have to be made.  He will be on blood thinners for at least 3-6 months.  This in itself can be serious requiring frequent blood draws to moniter the thinkness of his blood, no contact sports at all during this time.  He will be re-evaluated in 6 months, to see if it needs to be continued even further.  Please keep him in your prayers, you all know how active he is with his racing, being a member of "The Pride of Hayden", as well as a member of the Hayden basketball team.

Cell #'s of the next couple of days 2059108198/9108197.  Thank you all, so much.

    Re: Wesley Carter

Thanks to the many prayers, Wesley was discharged from the hospital today.  He is doing well, and would love to hear from all his racing buddies, same # as before 2056478339.  There will be some doctor appointments later this week, but he has done so well the last 24-48 hours, he was released before any of us thought he would be.  He is in great spirits, and is going to do well.  Ronnie and I, as well as Jeff and Pennie want to thank everyone for your thoughts, prayers, calls and visits.

    Gina
