    Yasmin

I saw on a website that Yasmin had a bad crash this weekend.  Anyone know how he is doing?

They said they were talking about it at Angel Ranch on Sunday.  Rumor has it that he had to be life flighted out. I don't know how true this it, like I said it is just what someone was saying there. They also said there was a #28 miniquad rider that got hurt as well on Sat. at Angel Ranch.

    Re: Yasmin

Yes he did have a bad wreck this weekend and he was med-flighted out. I was there on the track with him when it happened. Although, I did not see what happened. He WAS sitting up and talking before he got flighted out. His mother told me they thought he would be alright.   I am not sure of his condition as of now and do not want to start any rumors...this is all I know. I'm sure his parents know more. Let's all keep him in our prayers and wish him a speedy recovery.

    Re: Yasmin

I called Scott as soon as I saw this post.  He said that Yasmin broke his collar bone, has a swollen R knee, although they can't find anything broken in it and has a collapsed R lung.  The chest tube should come out soon and they think he may go home tomorrow.  We will keep Yasmin, Scott & Kim in our prayers.

    Re: Yasmin

I spoke to Scott earlier today.  Yasmin is still in the hospital but they are pretty sure that he will be home by tomorrow.

We are home. Praise the Lord! We made it home around 10:30 last night. Yasmin is doing well. He is still a little weak. He has a fx L collarbone. His R lung has inflated, just a couple sutures from where the chest tube was. We want to thank everyone for their prayers, phonecalls, thoughts & kindness. You guys are the best & are family to us. We love you all. As for Yaz's racing, Scott & I encouraged him to try a different sport. He informed us if he had to quit quad racing that he would like to ride bulls. I guess we'll stick to quad racing. Special thanks to Scott Griffin, Team Quadfast, The Gilchrist's, Smith's & Cooper's. Also the AL guys that helped us @ the track. God bless you all.

    Re: Yasmin

That was a tough scare. I'm glad everything worked out. Collar bone breaks are not too bad considering...
