The owner wants to give us a shot and see how it goes. Several of us have done alot of convincing to get this chance so please give a roll call. Billy is there any chance you could bring some of your crew up. It would be awesome if we could get about  20 or more people up there.Blake maybe you could make it as well.It would be nice to hang with some of you guys without the hustle of a race. Re: Chance to Ride Sand Mtn Mx in Albertville Al Sun Nov 4th Rally the Troops

The zip code is 35951.  I didn't know it was in Albertville, I thought it was just north of Albertville, but anyway.  This place is about 15-20 minutes from my house.  Me and Ken have been bugging the piss out of this guy to let us ride there, so it'd be cool if we could show him a good turnout.  I'm gonna go up there one day this week after work and make sure I know where it is and try to find a easier way to go.  If anybody wants to, I can meet you at the K-Mart in Albertville which is at the intersection of Hwy 431 and Hwy 75.  My brother entered a mud bog up there and he said the track looked awesome, but then again my brother knows about as much about MX as I know about engines. Stick out tongue  I have heard nothing but good about this track and the people that run it, and it's close enough that I could go ride there when I'm on call at work.  Like Ken said, if ya'll can come it would really help.  From what I've heard, this guy might let us race there if this sunday goes well.

We will see what we can do, but don't expect us.

violence shouldn't be the answer, but it better be an option

Re: Chance to Ride Sand Mtn Mx in Albertville Al Sun Nov 4th Rally the Troops

I went up there today after work, the place is pretty easy to find and looked pretty cool from the road.  The only thing that might throw you off is where the old stores are on HWY 75, they are widening the road there and one of those old stores is already torn down.  There is an old Exxon station on the right with a sign that says "Pittman Trade Post" and a cemetery right next to it.  Turn left there, then follow the directions exactly and you can't miss it.
