This track may be beautiful and fun to race on but I think its way too far away for most of the members. Nobody wants to drive over three hours for a local race.

I would have to respectfully disagree with you on that one. I did not hear one person who went say they would not come back. I believe SEQuads is more of a regional series than a local series. For once the folks in extreme west Alabama and Mississppi had the shorter drive.

I agree that I didn't care much for the long drive but I will definately be at the next race at Estes.  In my opinion, it's a national calibur track and I had enough fun there that it made the drive worth it to me.  The owner and people working there were some of the nicest people I've ever talked to.  I like the idea of SEQuads being a local series but I realize that for it to progress and prosper, it's gonna have to expand to just more than central Alabama.

    ^^^^^^ What he said^^^^^^.

I usually drive 4-5 hrs to all the SEQUAD races. I guess you gotta pay to play. This track I drove 4 hrs. to Florence, then 3 hrs. to Estes, then 6 hrs back to East Tennesse. It was defenitley worth it and I would do it all over again.
