About Aaron Eastep
I started riding quads in january of 06. Mostly trail riding and hill climbing. at the end of summer 06 we went to a open practice at a local track and i got hooked. At the time i was riding a polaris scrambler and i also had a predator 500. I practiced alot on the pred, but it was just too heavy and to expensive to get race ready. In march of 07 i sold the polarises and got an LTR 450. While looking for a new quad, i hooked up with James Krajewski and his wife. James has not only been a great friend, he has also been like a coach and mentor. He has been there from when i struggled to place in the beginner class to running side by side in the pro class. I started to 07 season in beg class for the first half of the season then moved into amatuer class and was winning just as easy. By september of my first season i ran in my first local pro class race and i didn't finish last. i have run about 6 local pro class races and my best finish was 2nd and the rest of the time it was either last or close to it. Not a bad first season!
Alot of people wonder why I moved up so quick when i could have stayed in amateur class for another year. I like to win, but at the same time i don't want to get comfortable in a class that i can win. I want to know that i have to bring it every lap and i still might not even place top 3. I love the challenge.
